I required alittle, cheap, good-quality, easy-to-use camera for my job and therefore the Fuji e510 I bought in 2005 simply wasn't cutting it. The Fuji was sensible for its time, had manual settings capability, however had a painfully tiny viewer and was too difficult for my uses that need quickly taking good-quality indoor footage with traditional space lighting (no flash preferred). I was staring at the Nikon L20/21's, then I saw that this new (Spring 2011) model L24 came out. I've used Digital Camera on enough jobs to feel I will properly decide its operation and image quality and to this point, i am very happy. My job could be a self-employed pc tech and that i do lots of on-site subcontracted work for corporations that service electronics manufacturers' warranties. My main use for this camera is taking sensible, clear indoor before/after photos of varied electronic devices and connected parts. My needs are an oversized LCD viewer, the power to use common AA batteries, have my settings (date/time, photo mode) retained once batteries were removed and replaced, and a fast thanks to transfer pictures to my PC's that does not rely solely on a USB cable.
